In the words of the old Billy Crystal character, Diana... "Dju look m-a-r-v-e-l-o-u-s dahlink!"
A great tribute to a great night. More pics at some point would assist our old memories.
Cheers, Anthony

11 March 2007
WOW and DOUBLE WOW!
The Silver Anniversary was spectacular and our heartfelt thanks go to the Self-appointed committee - and all its helpers - who, with glee and awe, organized an awesome Wednesday Night, not to mention those who came from afar, headed by Marc and Fiona, without whose presence, the evening would have been incomplete.
Neither we, nor the computers, have recovered sufficiently to have an adequate posting on the Website, but it will soon come. Furthermore, inexplicably, our Faithful Scribe has failed to submit a compte rendu of Wednesday Night #1305.
However, there must be no resting on the laurels that were heaped upon us. If, as Peter Trent suggests, we are to meet the bimetallic challenge, we feel it incumbent to continue to challenge you and thus we offer a short
menu of topics for this Wednesday Night.

Dear Scott,
We want to thank you, Gaétan and all the wonderful crew who looked after the Wednesday Night 25th anniversary party last night. Everything went perfectly; the staff were charming, efficient and did a wonderful job of cleaning up before they left. The food was wonderful and the smoked meat was an inspired closing for the late-staying guests.
We are so very glad that By George! was part of the evening - it would not have been the same with anyone else. Please convey our warmest thanks to all and please let George know how wonderful we think you all are.
Very best regards,
Diana & David Nicholson

Dear David and Diana,
Although I've never been fond of thanking people for their thank-you notes, your e-mail dated March 8 cannot go unanswered. You have always been gracious hosts, but I can only imagine the discomfort you must have felt knowing others had organized this evening on your behalf. Thank you both not only for your kind words but also your continued confidence in our company.
Here's to another 25 years.

Heartfelt thanks to the self-appointed committee and adjuncts!
The arrangements were superb. By George! was wonderful. The show was utterly delightful and clever, creating a perfect ambiance for a rollicking party. Thank you for the glowing official messages and for including mention of the many messages from far-away friends - and, Linda, a particular thank-you for the lovely letter from Stéphane.
The invitation in its beautiful silver frame is a treasured memento of a magical evening.
It was a glorious party that will certainly be writ large in the annals of world history.
The clean-up crew (Andrew and Jonathan) was totally efficient today and the house is back to normal - though more gleaming than usual.
We will be speaking to all of you individually, this is just the first volley.
Love and hugs to all,
