It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Hamilton Walls on August 31, 2011. She died peacefully at the Jewish General Hospital. Karen, you have gone from our sight but your voice is in our hearts and minds forever. Thank you for your gifts of friendship and laughter. You faced life with determination and courage and a wry shrug at fate tossed over your shoulder. We will miss you.
Lorne and Gaby, please accept our deepest sympathies,
Margaret and Ron Walker

Karen was an intensely loyal friend and an unfailingly elegant, witty, gentle and intelligent woman – she was a Lady in all the best and most classic senses of that title.
We are all poorer for losing her.
My deep sympathies to you Lorne.
May Karen rest in peace.
Margo Somerville
Our deepest sympathies to Lorne, Gaby and Charles. Karen was such a vibrant part of our lives and, as the legendary Lady Hamilton, the voice of Wednesday Night. We will all miss her deeply and treasure the memory of her friendship.
